CrowdStrike has announced a significant expansion of its Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) go-to-market strategy across Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC), aimed at accelerating cybersecurity transformation for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) through a distributor-led services model. Unveiled at the JAPAC Partner Symposium, the initiative is designed to broaden access to the company’s AI-native Falcon platform while enabling regional distributors to recruit, onboard, and activate MSSPs at scale, thereby addressing persistent cybersecurity challenges faced by SMBs such as limited budgets, resource constraints, and increasing threat complexity. By partnering with key distributors like Dicker Data and Otsuka Corporation, CrowdStrike is strengthening its ecosystem-driven approach, allowing MSSPs to deliver flexible, subscription-based cybersecurity services via distributor marketplaces, ultimately simplifying adoption for SMBs and accelerating time-to-value. The Falcon platform, which offers a wide range of cloud-delivered modules spanning endpoint protection, identity security, threat intelligence, and AI-powered automation, serves as the backbone of this strategy, helping organizations modernize their defenses in an increasingly AI-driven threat landscape.

According to independent Canalys research cited in the announcement, partners can generate up to $7 in services revenue for every $1 of Falcon platform sales, underscoring the strong economic incentive behind the services-led ecosystem and its potential to drive partner profitability and growth. The distributor-led model also enables scalable expansion across diverse regional markets by leveraging local expertise and established partner networks, ensuring that cybersecurity solutions are tailored to the unique needs of SMBs across JAPAC. “Distributors and MSSPs are pivotal to scaling CrowdStrike’s reach across JAPAC and helping organizations modernize their security for the AI era,” said Jon Fox, vice president of channels and alliances, CrowdStrike Japan and Asia Pacific. “Budget constraints, complexity, and resource limitations continue to challenge businesses, with SMBs experiencing these challenges at greater scale.” Overall, this strategic expansion highlights CrowdStrike’s commitment to democratizing enterprise-grade cybersecurity, reinforcing its partner-first approach, and positioning itself as a key enabler of AI-driven security transformation across one of the fastest-growing digital regions globally.
