Cohesity has appointed Joseph Razavian as its new Head of Corporate Development, adding an experienced technology partnerships and business development executive to its leadership team.
Razavian announced the move on LinkedIn, marking a new chapter after several years at Cohesity, where he has worked across business development and strategic alliances. His background includes technology partnerships, product commercialization, ecosystem development and go-to-market initiatives. Before joining Cohesity, Razavian spent more than seven years at VMware in a range of leadership positions spanning business development, technology alliances, hyperscaler go-to-market and product management.
His expanded corporate development role comes as enterprise technology companies increasingly look beyond traditional product development to build strategic relationships, pursue partnerships and identify opportunities around emerging technologies.

At Cohesity, Razavian has previously been involved in partnerships across the data security and technology ecosystem. His work has included engagements involving companies such as NVIDIA, Cisco, AWS and cybersecurity providers, reflecting the growing intersection between data protection, cyber resilience and artificial intelligence.
The timing is notable as enterprises continue to manage increasingly complex data environments while adopting AI workloads.
