Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc., and Booz Allen Hamilton have announced a significant expansion of their strategic collaboration to drive technology advancements and operational efficiencies for U.S. government agencies. This strengthened partnership aims to deliver innovative, scalable solutions across federal missions in intelligence, defense, civil, and commercial sectors, fostering digital transformation for government agencies.
The two industry leaders will collaborate to develop and market a suite of cutting-edge solutions designed to accelerate digital transformation within federal agencies. For the first time, Booz Allen will provide ready-to-deploy, enterprise-level digital solutions at scale, covering critical areas such as cloud migration, cybersecurity, and generative artificial intelligence (AI).
These solutions will equip federal agencies with comprehensive capabilities essential for high-priority missions, from enhancing national security using AI to thwarting cyberattacks with zero-trust security models. Other key offerings include cloud services deployment in remote environments, IT infrastructure modernization, and the use of high-performance computing (HPC) to drive scientific breakthroughs.
By combining Booz Allen’s extensive technical expertise and domain knowledge with AWS’s cloud capabilities, the collaboration will leverage the security, scalability, performance, and sustainability of AWS’s infrastructure. Joint customers will also benefit from the AWS Migration Acceleration Program, which offers a range of support options, including free proof-of-concept trials, migration assessments, and AWS credits to ease migration efforts and boost operational efficiencies.

“We’re hearing from our government customers that they need agile solutions that improve operations, boost efficiencies, and enhance security, while also reducing costs,” said Dave Levy, Vice President of Worldwide Public Sector at AWS. “Our partnership will enable Booz Allen to deliver cutting-edge solutions via the AWS Marketplace, helping meet the evolving needs of the U.S. government. This collaboration represents a force multiplier for government customers and will empower greater scalability, flexibility, security, and resilience in support of their critical missions.”
“Federal agencies today face complex, evolving challenges at an unprecedented pace,” said Bill Vass, Chief Technology Officer at Booz Allen. “This environment demands industry to be technically fearless, relentlessly fast, and outcome-focused. For decades, Booz Allen has leveraged advanced technology and innovation to solve these critical problems. Through this expanded partnership with AWS, we are poised to jointly create, invest in, and scale solutions to transform missions, drive efficiencies, and accelerate technological outcomes.”
AWS and Booz Allen have long collaborated to achieve high-impact results for U.S. government missions. One example includes their work with U.S. Army Japan, where they support operations in the Indo-Pacific region by integrating AWS’s powerful services and Booz Allen’s deep technical expertise. This collaboration ensures the secure, end-to-end encryption of warfighter data worldwide, emphasizing zero-trust models and edge communications. Their joint efforts use advanced tools like AWS Shield and Cloud Edge Global Access (CEGA) to address the persistent challenges of the first and second island chains while bolstering credible military deterrence.
“Today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape in the Indo-Pacific requires constant modernization of advanced technology solutions to outpace the adversary,” said Michael Deeter, Director of Cyber/Dark Horizon at U.S. Army Japan. “Missions face electronically disrupted environments, demanding rugged, scalable, and secure tech solutions that can survive first contact. Partnering with industry innovators like Booz Allen and AWS is essential to deliver mission-ready solutions like Dark Horizon that counter threats and solve our toughest challenges.”
This expanded partnership between AWS and Booz Allen further underscores their commitment to advancing the U.S. government’s digital transformation while enhancing national security, accelerating mission success, and improving overall operational efficiencies.
