Cloudflare has appointed Sameer Raje as Area Vice President for SAARC, bringing extensive regional technology leadership and business growth experience to the internet infrastructure and cybersecurity company.
Raje joins Cloudflare after more than seven years at Zoom, where he served as Country Leader and Head of India and SAARC. During his tenure, he helped establish and scale Zoom’s regional operations, leading go-to-market strategy, market expansion, revenue growth, and cross-functional execution.
His responsibilities at Zoom spanned enterprise, government, public-sector, and small and medium-sized business customers. He also contributed to the company’s expansion beyond video meetings into a broader communications and customer engagement portfolio, including Zoom Phone and Contact Center.
Before Zoom, Raje held positions at Microsoft and IBM, building experience across major enterprise technology companies. His background in regional business development, partner engagement, and organizational leadership will be relevant as Cloudflare continues to develop its presence across South Asia.
