IGEL has appointed Randy Resnick as Field Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Government and Critical Industries, strengthening its focus on Zero Trust security, cyber resilience and secure endpoint computing. Announced on October 15, 2026, the appointment brings a senior cybersecurity leader with nearly four decades of experience across the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and National Security Agency (NSA) into the company’s leadership team.

Resnick most recently served as Senior Advisor and Director of the DoD Zero Trust Portfolio Management Office, where he led efforts to develop, coordinate and operationalize Zero Trust across a complex government technology environment. His work included helping shape the DoD Zero Trust Strategy and supporting the development of reference architectures, maturity models, innovation labs and independent assessment approaches.

At IGEL, Resnick will help advance the company’s Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform (IASEP), translating security frameworks used in national security environments into practical capabilities for government agencies and critical industries. The appointment comes as government organizations and critical infrastructure operators face increasingly complex cybersecurity requirements. Sectors such as energy, healthcare, manufacturing and public services need to protect sensitive systems while maintaining availability and operational continuity. As organizations adopt cloud services, distributed work environments and AI-enabled technologies, securing endpoints has become an essential part of broader security strategies.

IGEL develops software designed to support secure endpoint computing and digital workspaces. Its platform strategy emphasizes reducing endpoint risk while enabling organizations to maintain control over access, devices and critical business operations.

By bringing Resnick’s government and national security experience into its commercial organization, IGEL aims to help customers apply established Zero Trust principles to real-world environments. These approaches emphasize continuous verification, least-privilege access and security controls that account for users, devices and context.

The appointment highlights the growing connection between cybersecurity strategy and operational resilience. For critical industries, effective security is not only about preventing attacks; it is also about maintaining reliable services and recovering from disruption. Resnick’s role will support IGEL’s efforts to help organizations strengthen secure endpoint operations as their technology environments evolve.
