Bio Stack, a healthcare technology company, announced that it has launched a global data infrastructure network in conjunction with a $9.5 million seed funding led by investors such as Peak XV, Afore Capital, DCVC, Emerson Collective, SV Angel, Verdict Capital, Streamlined Ventures, and Y Combinator. This Y Combinator company has developed a network connecting over 100 million de-identified and fragmented patient records across the U.S., Brazil, Argentina, and India, including clinical notes, imaging, labs, medication, and longitudinal clinical outcomes, into multimodal structured datasets and reinforcement learning environments for medical AI, drug discovery, and clinical research applications. This funding will enable Bio Stack to scale its platform into additional markets and grow its engineering and research team to connect disparate healthcare provider systems to innovative health-tech applications.

Illustrating its clinical impact, BioStack is already integrating hundreds of thousands of imaging scans with pathology files and aiding cancer patient matching for investigational vaccine initiatives in India. Emphasizing the project’s strategic value, Sanat Mishra, co-founder and CEO of BioStack, noted, “Collecting every event linked to each patient enables a view of what happens at each stage of a patient’s journey.” He added, “We’re building the infrastructure that connects all of the clinical information and makes it useful, both for clinicians making decisions today and for the researchers and AI developers building the future of medicine.” Endorsing this vision, Pushpak Kedia, Vice President at Peak XV, stated, “The next frontier of healthcare AI will depend not only on better models, but on access to high-quality, longitudinal data that reflects how patients are treated over time.”
