Lumanity, a global biopharmaceutical partner, announced the first enterprise use of Illuminator, a new AI-enabled intelligence platform designed to define, demonstrate and deliver value across the full lifecycle of medicines. Developed over the course of three years to challenge and replace complex, fractured commercialization workflows, the platform leverages proprietary AI capabilities, combined with the deep science and commercial domain knowledge of more than 1,100 scientists and consultants, on a modular, learning ‘living evidence backbone’ built on four pillars: expert orchestration; integrated intelligence; an ISO 42001 trust architecture that meets global standards; and an interoperable architecture that scales to multiple large language models.

The product has already demonstrated measurable value to clients by shortening the Joint Clinical Assessment preparation time by up to six months and creating dynamic, auto-updating evidence plans. “The application of AI-enabled tools in the life sciences industry is evolving – having a platform that allows users to produce results faster is useful, but it isn’t enough. Today, after over three years of building, testing, and analyzing outputs, we are proud to deliver a platform that combines human expertise and technology to fundamentally improve value demonstration,” said Jon Williams, Chief Executive Officer, Lumanity.
