Announced on October 12, 2026, the appointment comes as Motive reports record quarterly performance and expands its AI-driven technology for businesses managing vehicles, equipment and frontline operations.

Bennett will oversee brand strategy, demand generation, communications and product marketing, joining Motive’s executive leadership team. His role will focus on sharpening the company’s market positioning and building a growth engine to match its expanding business and technology ambitions.

He brings more than two decades of experience in marketing and sales leadership across enterprise technology companies. The appointment comes at a significant point in Motive’s growth. The company reported annual recurring revenue exceeding $600 million, with year-over-year growth reaching 30%. In September, Motive also secured more than $1.3 billion in growth financing from General Catalyst to advance its AI platform, expand go-to-market teams and reach larger, more complex organizations.

Motive applies AI to physical operations, helping businesses improve safety, increase productivity, manage costs and make better decisions. Its platform serves industries including transportation, logistics, construction, manufacturing, energy and field services.

In his LinkedIn announcement, Bennett highlighted the opportunity to communicate the business impact of AI more clearly as Motive scales. He emphasized that AI can help organizations prevent collisions, keep vehicles and equipment operational, and reduce manual work.

His appointment underscores the growing importance of marketing leadership in enterprise AI. As technology providers compete to demonstrate measurable customer outcomes, translating technical capabilities into clear business value is becoming central to growth and market differentiation.
