Consensus has appointed Sean Murray as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing an experienced go-to-market executive to lead the company’s revenue organization as it expands its AI-powered approach to software buying and sales. The appointment was announced on September 22, 2026.

Murray joins Consensus after serving as CEO of Productiv. He previously held CRO positions at Greenhouse and Salesloft, where he helped scale enterprise revenue operations and build repeatable go-to-market models. At Greenhouse, he helped grow the business from $40 million to more than $200 million, while at Salesloft he built its enterprise motion as the company expanded to $200 million.

At Consensus, Murray will take responsibility for new business, expansion and partnerships while leading the company’s go-to-market organization. His appointment comes after a significant period of expansion for Consensus, including two acquisitions in less than six months.

The company acquired Peel in April 2026, adding AI-powered conversational demos, and Saleo in June, adding data-rich live demonstrations. Consensus says the acquisitions have helped bring self-guided, conversational and live product experiences together on one platform.

The company is also positioning itself within the emerging Agentic GTM category, where AI agents can support and coordinate activities across the go-to-market lifecycle. Consensus was named a leader in the category by G2 and was also recognized among G2’s Top 5 Sales Software Platforms of 2026.

For Murray, the new role reflects a changing enterprise buying environment in which customers increasingly research and evaluate software before engaging directly with sales teams.

His focus will be on turning those interactions into actionable “Demo Intelligence” signals that can help revenue teams understand buying groups, customer interests and deal momentum.

The appointment highlights how AI is reshaping not only sales tools but the broader way B2B technology companies understand and respond to buyer behavior.
