Saksoft Limited has appointed Gurmeet Chahal as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 12, 2026, marking a significant leadership transition in the company’s 25-year history. Chahal becomes Saksoft’s first CEO from outside the founding family, as the digital engineering and transformation company prepares for its next phase of global expansion and AI-led growth. Founder Aditya Krishna will continue as Chairman of the Board.
The leadership change follows a strong financial performance, with Saksoft crossing ₹1,000 crore in revenue and reporting an EBITDA margin of 18.6%. The company aims to build on this momentum by expanding its market presence and strengthening its capabilities in enterprise technology.
Chahal brings more than 25 years of international executive experience across technology services, digital transformation and enterprise business growth. Most recently, he served as founding CEO and Executive Director of Digitide Solutions, leading its separation from Quess Corp and subsequent public listing in June 2025. He previously held the role of Senior Vice President and Global Leader of Digital Transformation Services at Genpact and built digital business units at HCLTech and DXC Technology.

At Saksoft, his priorities include embedding generative and agentic AI into client solutions and engineering workflows, deepening relationships across key industries, and pursuing strategic acquisitions. The company plans to strengthen its position in sectors including banking and financial services, logistics, utilities, retail and high technology, while expanding across North America and Europe.
In his LinkedIn announcement, Chahal emphasized preserving Saksoft’s culture while accelerating growth. He highlighted the role of AI, modern data architectures and cloud engineering in creating meaningful business outcomes for clients.
The appointment reflects a broader shift among technology services companies toward AI-driven, outcome-focused solutions. As enterprises move beyond experimentation to practical AI adoption, Saksoft‘s next chapter will depend on combining its industry expertise with scalable engineering capabilities and stronger global reach.
