Cresta, a unified customer experience AI platform, has formally introduced Cresta Conductor, a developer-first agentic engine that can create and optimize production-grade AI agents twice as fast. Generally, current market tools serve basic prototypes, while Conductor is mainly designed to manage enterprise-level complexities, enabling customer experience (CX) agents to communicate through custom APIs, different databases, and deterministic code-based workflows like handling payments or making reservations. Operating as a purpose-built “agent-building-agent,” it initiates development through comprehensive discovery analyzing system documentation, platform data, and clarifying questions to generate a reviewable structural blueprint.

Once approved, Conductor generates the complete agent, mapping out prompt logic, subagent orchestration, custom configurations, and required code. The system integrates tightly with Cresta’s Testing Suite and Synthetic Customers to enable autonomous pre-launch validation and continuous post-launch diagnostics, giving developers a structured, prioritized path to patch live issues. Highlighting the impact of this framework on modern engineering, Ping Wu, CEO of Cresta, stated, “Building production-ready AI agents is one of the hardest engineering challenges in the enterprise right now,” later expanding on the technology’s capability by adding, “For the first time, Cresta Conductor makes it possible to use natural language to build a complete, customer-ready AI agent that is based on real conversation data, connected across enterprise systems, and fully optimized to meet customer needs.” In addressing scalability and oversight, Wu added, “In an era where AI can build AI, development teams everywhere face a new challenge: creating production-ready agents quickly, at scale, without losing control. Cresta Conductor makes this possible.”
