Viz.ai Broadens Healthcare System Integrations to Inform Critical Decisions at the Point of Care

Viz.ai

Integration capabilities deliver real-time, disease-specific insights to healthcare providers to improve patient care and outcomes

Viz.ai, the leader in AI-powered disease detection and intelligent care coordination, announced expanded interoperability capabilities of Viz.ai One. Viz.ai One is now live on a broad range of marketplace platforms. Viz.ai algorithms and electronic health record (EHR) data work together on one platform to detect suspected disease and communicate results to care teams immediately. These collaborative integrations streamline clinical workflows and help physicians diagnose and treat patients faster to improve patient outcomes.

“Importing these data directly from the EHR has made the Viz.ai app exponentially more valuable and actionable from a physician’s perspective,” said Chris Hayner, MD, FCCP, director of the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. “From a patient perspective, it now allows a patient suffering from a life threatening pulmonary embolism to instantly have a team of diverse specialists come together fully armed with the information they need to more quickly and appropriately provide them the care they need.”

Viz.ai’s integration capabilities significantly reduce the time and resources needed by healthcare IT such that Viz.ai can integrate with an EHR system with minimal effort required. With EHR data easily accessible in the Viz.ai platform, care teams can receive relevant contextual data such as patient history or specific clinical data needed for alerted cases, for example pulmonary embolism and hypertrophic cardio. Along with EHR integrations, Viz has expanded to integrate with many picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) and radiology worklist systems allowing specialties across the hospital and outpatient space to improve their workflow while bolstering their clinical practice with the use of AI.

“We are excited to offer an easy way to bring Viz.ai together with multiple EHR, radiology worklist, and PACS partners to deliver a unified experience for healthcare systems and our 45,000-user base,” said Gad Sakin, chief product officer at Viz.ai. “Viz.ai’s direct integrations provide more context and relevant patient information to clinicians wherever they are, helping to save more time at the point-of-care and increase efficiency.”
