Energy technology firm Lancium has announced a strategic collaboration alongside a direct strategic investment from NVIDIA to advance gigawatt-scale AI factory developments across Lancium’s footprint, which includes 4 gigawatts of leased capacity and a pipeline exceeding 15 gigawatts of powered land. Under this partnership, Lancium’s campuses will serve as key deployment hubs for NVIDIA’s full computing, networking, and software stacks, enabling cloud providers, AI-native companies, and developers to access large-scale, power-ready capacity for demanding workloads. The facilities will integrate NVIDIA DSX reference architecture utilizing DSX MaxLPS to increase GPU density by up to 40% within existing power constraints and DSX Flex to match energy consumption dynamically with grid conditions. Highlighting the vision behind this joint initiative, Michael McNamara, CEO and Co-Founder, Lancium stated: “We have spent years assembling the power, the land, and the infrastructure expertise needed to deliver AI data center capacity at a scale the world has never seen.
