Aspect has unveiled its new Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) initiative as part of its Q3 2026 release for Aspect Cloud Workforce, embedding technical specialists directly within enterprise operations to design and build bespoke, AI-powered solutions. Rather than offering high-level blueprints, each FDE engagement collaborates directly with client IT and operations teams to automate manual tasks and integrate Aspect Intelligence into daily workflows. Detailing the practical focus of the model, Aspect noted, “With FDE, our engineers work directly with customers’ operations teams to understand the problem, design the solution together, and build it. Increasingly, that means applying Aspect Intelligence to decisions that are still being made manually today.
