Pandit announced the move on LinkedIn, describing the opportunity as a chance to build on his experience scaling cloud and AI infrastructure and apply it to the broader challenges of enterprise AI adoption. Pandit brings more than two decades of experience across engineering, consulting, cloud technology, and AI infrastructure. Before joining Anthropic, he held leadership positions at Google Cloud, where he focused on AI infrastructure and customer engineering. His experience has included working with organizations ranging from startups to large enterprises as they developed cloud and AI strategies.

His move comes as businesses increasingly look beyond AI experimentation toward practical deployment. Enterprises are evaluating how foundation models can be integrated into software development, customer operations, data workflows, and other business processes while managing infrastructure, security, governance, and cost considerations.
