Qualtrics has appointed Matthew Gilmartin as its new General Counsel, adding experienced legal leadership as artificial intelligence, data privacy, and regulatory considerations become increasingly important to enterprise technology companies.
Gilmartin announced the appointment on LinkedIn, highlighting the changing role of Experience Management and the need for organizations to balance innovation with security and responsible technology practices.
In his new position, Gilmartin will lead Qualtrics’ global legal strategy and advise the company across areas including commercial operations, products, data, artificial intelligence, privacy, and regulatory matters. His responsibilities come at a time when companies are navigating increasingly complex requirements around how data is collected, processed, protected, and used in AI-powered applications.

Gilmartin brings more than two decades of legal and leadership experience to the role. His background includes senior leadership positions at IQVIA as well as experience with major law firms.
