Lumos Unveils Identity Agent Force to Combat Agentic Cyber Threats

Related stories

In response to the surge of sophisticated, agentic cyberattacks, identity management platform Lumos has launched the Identity Agent Force, a specialized team of AI agents designed to continuously govern access across human, machine, and AI identities. Launched with the help of the Agent Hub, the product currently comes with six out-of-the-box agents, including the Access Review Agent, the Role Mining Agent, and the NHI Owner Hunter, which work independently to defuse any threat at machine speeds. In contrast to the conventional IGA tools based on human effort and periodic assessments, this approach involves shifting the operational process to automate access decisions while keeping exceptions as human tasks, which helps enterprise users to protect themselves from malicious artificial intelligence models that automate phishing attacks and credentials theft.

Built on a live permission map and enterprise context, Lumos translates every automated action into durable policy, turning the security team’s role from manual ticket processing to high-level strategic oversight. Underscoring the critical nature of this technological paradigm shift, Andrej Safundzic, CEO of Lumos, noted, “AI is reshaping the enterprise faster than any technology before it, and traditional identity forces an untenable choice: move slow and die, or go fast and put the business at risk. Attackers aren’t waiting. They are using agents to attack businesses like never before. The Identity Agent Force gives defenders the same advantage with a team of agents that not only lets them fight back, but win.”
