Harish Nanda has joined mPulse as Chief Technology Officer, taking on a senior technology leadership role at the healthcare technology company as it expands the use of artificial intelligence and predictive capabilities across its Health Experience and Insights (HXI) platform. mPulse announced the appointment on October 6, alongside the appointment of Erin Kowalow as Chief Business Operations Officer.
Nanda brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience spanning healthcare, health technology, financial services, insurance and strategy consulting. He joins mPulse from Acentra Health, where he spent seven years and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, leading the company’s global technology organization. Earlier in his career, he held senior technology positions at Alvarez & Marsal, Symetra Financial, Point B and Microsoft.
At mPulse, Nanda will lead the continued evolution of the company’s HXI platform, including its AI and predictive capabilities. His responsibilities will center on advancing the technology organization while helping connect data, analytics and digital engagement across healthcare interactions.

The appointment comes as healthcare organizations increasingly explore AI and predictive analytics to improve how they communicate with and support members. Healthcare technology providers are also facing the challenge of integrating AI into existing platforms while maintaining data security, operational reliability and meaningful outcomes.
mPulse’s platform brings together member data, communications and analytics across healthcare organizations. The company says its technology supports more than four billion consumer touchpoints annually and is used by more than 450 healthcare organizations.
Nanda’s appointment therefore reflects the growing importance of technology leadership in healthcare, where AI is moving beyond experimentation toward integration into everyday engagement and operational processes.
In his announcement, Nanda said the opportunity at mPulse aligns with his interest in connecting predictive insights with member engagement. His role will place him at the intersection of healthcare technology, AI and digital experiences as the company develops the next stage of its HXI platform.
The move marks a new chapter for Nanda and adds an experienced technology leader to mPulse’s executive team as healthcare organizations continue adapting to an increasingly AI-driven technology environment.
