Sidharth Ganesh Subramany has stepped into a new role at Veeam Software as Director, AI for Revenue Intelligence, adding a stronger AI focus to his work across strategy, operations and enterprise technology.

Subramany announced the move on LinkedIn, describing the new position as an opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence can reshape revenue intelligence and commercial decision-making. His move comes as Veeam continues to expand its focus on the intersection of data, AI and enterprise technology.

The appointment builds on Subramany’s experience at Veeam, where he previously served as a Strategic Program Manager. In that role, he worked on initiatives connected to business growth and enterprise technology. His professional background also spans strategy, operations and product management, supported by an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and an integrated B.Tech./M.Tech. from IIT Madras.

The new role comes at a time when companies are increasingly using AI beyond traditional automation, applying it to forecasting, pipeline analysis, sales productivity and revenue operations. Veeam’s current Revenue Intelligence initiatives similarly emphasize forecast accuracy, commercial performance, AI-enabled productivity and automation across sales operations.

Veeam has also been expanding its broader DataAI strategy. The company describes itself as a Data and AI Trust Company and has introduced capabilities designed to connect enterprise data, security, identity and AI activity.

Subramany’s appointment therefore reflects a broader shift in enterprise technology: AI is increasingly becoming part of the operating layer for revenue teams, helping organizations move from retrospective reporting toward more predictive and intelligent decision-making.
