Exabeam has expanded Craig Patterson’s leadership responsibilities, with Patterson moving into the role of SVP of Global Channels & Marketing. The appointment brings Exabeam’s partner ecosystem and marketing functions under a broader leadership mandate as the cybersecurity company continues to develop its go-to-market strategy.
Patterson joined Exabeam in 2025 as Global Channel Chief, following extensive experience in channel and go-to-market leadership across cybersecurity and enterprise technology. In his earlier role, he was responsible for helping integrate the Exabeam and LogRhythm partner organizations following their merger and developing the company’s global partner strategy.
In the expanded position, Patterson will oversee the global partner ecosystem alongside the company’s marketing organization. His responsibilities span areas including brand, messaging, demand generation, communications, field marketing and account development.

The broader remit reflects a growing convergence between channel strategy and marketing within enterprise cybersecurity. Vendors are increasingly coordinating partner programs, demand generation and market messaging as buying decisions involve multiple stakeholders, including technology teams, security leaders and channel partners.
Patterson has more than two decades of experience in technology and cybersecurity go-to-market roles. Before Exabeam, he held leadership positions at Aryaka Networks and Lumen Technologies, where his responsibilities included global revenue strategies, channel development and post-merger integration.
At Exabeam, Patterson has also been involved in the development of the company’s APEX Partner Program and initiatives aimed at simplifying partner engagement and strengthening channel capabilities. Exabeam’s current leadership profile identifies him as both SVP of Global Channels & Marketing and a member of its executive leadership team.
The expanded role places channels and marketing within a unified leadership structure, reflecting the increasingly interconnected nature of partner ecosystems, demand generation and cybersecurity go-to-market strategies.
