New platform aims to accelerate the development of interactive AI applications across media, entertainment, robotics, and physical AI

Reactor has officially emerged from stealth mode with the launch of its developer platform designed to power real-time generative video and world models. Alongside the launch, the company also announced $59 million in funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from WndrCo, Amplify Partners, Sky9 Capital, FPV Ventures, and additional investors.

The company is positioning itself as the infrastructure layer for a new generation of AI-powered interactive experiences, enabling developers to build applications that move beyond static AI interactions into immersive, real-time environments.

Reactor’s platform is built to support the growing demand for world models AI systems capable of generating dynamic, interactive environments that users can engage with in real time. The technology is expected to unlock new possibilities across industries including gaming, entertainment, robotics, simulation, and physical AI.

According to the company, traditional generative AI systems have primarily focused on text and image outputs. Reactor’s infrastructure is designed to address the increasing need for responsive, real-time AI experiences that can operate at scale while maintaining low latency and high visual fidelity.

The platform provides developers with tools and infrastructure to create persistent AI-generated environments, allowing applications to react and adapt continuously to user interactions. Reactor stated that its technology is intended to simplify the deployment of complex generative video workloads while reducing the operational burden typically associated with high-performance AI systems.

The launch comes as enterprises and developers continue to invest heavily in next-generation AI experiences that blend simulation, video generation, and real-time interaction. Industry demand for scalable AI infrastructure has accelerated significantly as organizations look to operationalize immersive AI applications in commercial settings.

Reactor noted that its infrastructure has been purpose-built for real-time performance, enabling developers to create experiences that feel interactive rather than pre-rendered. The company believes this approach will play a critical role in advancing AI-driven storytelling, autonomous systems, and virtual environments.

With fresh funding and its public launch now underway, Reactor plans to further expand its platform capabilities, scale its engineering operations, and support developers building the next wave of interactive AI applications.
