The industry’s leading AI-based platform provider for transforming businesses is ServiceNow which recently completed the acquisition of Armis that specializes in cyber exposure management. Real-time asset intelligence will now be incorporated into the AI platform of ServiceNow, helping organizations understand, prioritize, and mitigate any cyber threats.
The acquisition effectively triples ServiceNow’s total addressable market in security and risk solutions. By incorporating Armis’ specialized capabilities, ServiceNow now provides comprehensive visibility into every connected asset spanning IT, operational technology (OT), Internet of Things (IoT), medical devices, physical AI, code, and cloud environments.
Unifying Visibility and Remediation in the Agentic AI Era
For years, security departments have struggled with fragmented point solutions. A fundamental structural challenge has persisted: risk management tools often lack the power to execute remediation, while remediation tools operate without a full view of the threat landscape. This disconnect increases vulnerability, particularly as organizations scale agentic AI.
The integration of Armis addresses this head-on. Armis tracks nearly 7 billion devices in real time, providing a non-invasive layer of discovery and monitoring. When combined with ServiceNow’s recent acquisition of Veza, which provides identity intelligence for human and machine actors, the platform creates a powerful “Context Engine.” This engine maps every asset and permission to the specific business processes and teams they support.
“Most security platforms stop at the alert. ServiceNow closes the loop,” said Amit Zavery, president, chief operating officer, and chief product officer at ServiceNow. “Armis gives us real-time, contextual awareness into the cyber risk of every connected asset, including the devices and systems that conventional tools were never built to see. Combined with Veza’s identity intelligence, that signal flows into ServiceNow’s Context Engine and AI Control Tower, turning exposure into automated remediation with governance and a full audit trail built in at every step.”

Strengthening Global Infrastructure Defense
Armis brings a proven track record of securing critical infrastructure. The company’s Centrix™ platform is utilized by nine of the top 10 Fortune 500 companies and more than 35% of the Fortune 100, alongside major public sector entities globally.
“We built Armis to solve the toughest cybersecurity challenges of organizations globally, protecting all their assets across IT, OT, IoT, medical devices, code, and cloud that are at the heart of manufacturing, healthcare, and critical infrastructure,” said Yevgeny Dibrov, co-founder and CEO, Armis. “Joining ServiceNow, with Veza already on the platform, enables us to address this mission tenfold to keep the world’s largest and most complex enterprise environments safe and secure.”
Transactional Details and Market Impact
ServiceNow completed the acquisition of Armis for approximately $7.75 billion in cash. The transaction was funded through a combination of debt and cash on hand. This follows the March 2026 close of the Veza acquisition, signaling ServiceNow’s aggressive expansion into the cybersecurity sector.
Industry leaders recognize the value of this combined ecosystem. By leveraging the data from both platforms, partners can now drive more precise security workflows.
“By leveraging solutions like ServiceNow and Armis, organizations can accelerate automated asset protection so they can scale securely, build the visibility needed to be resilient, and stay ahead of cyber threats,” said Ken Xie, founder, chairman of the board, and CEO, Fortinet. “With Fortinet’s industry-leading AI-driven innovation at scale, combined with our long-standing relationships and deep integrations across both platforms, we can drive ServiceNow security workflows with precision delivering faster, closed-loop protection and more consistent, accurate response for our customers.”
Looking Forward
With the acquisition complete, Armis’ technology is being integrated into the ServiceNow AI Platform. Armis Centrix™ will continue to be available as a standalone solution, while existing customers of both organizations can begin utilizing the newly combined capabilities immediately.
