Strategic Collaboration to Drive AI Innovation
NVIDIA and several leading Saudi organizations are set to collaborate on numerous key initiatives:
- HUMAIN, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund dedicated to AI, plans to invest significantly in establishing AI factories within KSA. These factories will have a projected capacity of up to 500 megawatts, powered by hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA’s cutting-edge GPUs over the next five years. The initial phase includes deploying an 18,000 NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputer equipped with NVIDIA InfiniBand networking.
- HUMAIN will also introduce the country’s first NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud to facilitate simulation and testing of physical AI solutions via digital twins.
- NVIDIA is committed to bolstering the nation’s computing ecosystem by training thousands of developers in advanced computing and AI, empowering them to tackle complex challenges.
- In partnership with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA), NVIDIA will deploy up to 5,000 Blackwell GPUs for a sovereign AI factory, fostering smart city solutions. Additionally, NVIDIA and SDAIA will train scientists and engineers from government and academic institutions to develop and implement AI models.
- Aramco Digital plans to enhance AI computing infrastructure, collaborate with NVIDIA’s startup network, establish AI enterprise platforms, and develop an engineering and robotics center of excellence utilizing NVIDIA technologies.
H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi, president of SDAIA, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “This partnership with NVIDIA reflects SDAIA’s commitment to harnessing and advancing the potential of data and AI through continuous innovation. It marks a significant step toward positioning the Kingdom as a leader among data- and AI-driven economies, and in building a knowledge-based society and an advanced digital economy aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.”
The collaboration aims to empower industries such as energy, manufacturing, and logistics to leverage AI and digital twins, fostering innovation, efficiency, safety, and sustainability throughout the region.
