SolarWinds Enhances Database Observability with New SAP HANA Cloud Monitoring

In its latest version 2026.2 release of Database Performance Analyzer (DPA), SolarWinds brings together database administrators (DBAs) working in the cloud and hybrid environment to experience a streamlined approach to filtering out data noise in their business-critical workloads through DPA for SAP HANA Cloud. This new product launch is designed specifically in response to challenges faced by the DBAs regarding the data management process inefficiency. According to industry statistics, the average number of hours wasted in the data management process is 27 per week.

Through SAP HANA-specific database monitoring features, including the famous wait-based analytics, intelligent alerting, and AI-based tuning provided by this platform, the problem of root cause identification is solved. With the help of this new DPA version, one can detect operational problems that might lead to ERP, finance, or analytical disruptions. Explaining the core value behind this launch, Bharat Bedi, General Manager of Database Observability at SolarWinds, stated: “The challenge isn’t a lack of data; it’s a lack of clarity.” Through the integration of optimization tools that are intelligently scalable with each successive version of its software, SolarWinds is able to ensure that database administrators have access to the information and visibility they need to keep their systems running at optimal levels.
