Searchable, which is an artificial intelligence-based performance marketing platform that concentrates on using AI for boosting search visibility, has raised $14 million in investment funding headed by Headline at a valuation of $85 million, demonstrating increasing interest among investors in the future of AI-based customer acquisition processes. Established in 2025 by serial entrepreneur Chris Donnelly, the startup has seen impressive growth, achieving $2 million revenue in just 4.5 months after acquiring close to 1,000 clients. Searchable assists brands in monitoring and optimizing their presence on AI-powered search platforms like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity, as organizations adapt to a world where answers from AI are taking over traditional searches. According to the company, AI-enabled search could account for nearly 70% of all searches by 2027, while a large share of searches already conclude without users clicking on websites. The latest funding will support Searchable’s product development efforts and expansion across the US and UK markets.

Dominic R. Wilhelm, Partner at Headline, said: “AI–driven discovery is rewriting how customers find products. As more searches are answered directly by AI, brands that are invisible in this layer of search will see less demand. The companies that adapt first will grow market share; those that don’t will lose it quietly.” He further added: “We see Searchable becoming part of the core infrastructure for this shift, not just reporting on what AI engines say about a brand, but directly improving the visibility and revenue outcomes that matter to management teams and boards.” Founder Chris Donnelly emphasized the changing dynamics of digital marketing, stating: “Search is going through a once–in–a–generation reset. When an AI assistant recommends your brand, customers arrive with more trust and a shorter path to purchase. Based on our own data customers are converting at 3x higher when they arrive from ChatGPT and other LLMs. If you aren’t visible in those answers, you’re giving ground to competitors every day.” Searchable currently works with enterprises including American Express, KPMG, and Siemens, with customers reportedly seeing notable gains in AI-driven traffic shortly after adopting the platform.
