The AI-driven practice intelligence platform Qount this week rolled out a major redesign of its user experience and user interface, introducing what it calls a “whole new way for firms to work smarter.” Based in Plano, Texas, Qount is positioned as a unified solution for public-accounting firms and has integrated CRM, time-and-billing, onboarding, collaboration, client portals, document management and more into a single platform. With the redesign, Qount emphasises a modern intelligent interface that features smarter navigation, cleaner visuals and AI-driven workflows designed to streamline firm management. At the heart of the update is the new “QAI Hub” homepage, which organises tasks, alerts and conversations by priority, taking into account compliance risk, client sentiment and deadlines and offering colour-coded urgency levels alongside AI-driven priority scores.

“This redesign marks a new era of productivity for accounting firms,” said Pete Miele, CEO at Qount. “Every design decision was made to create clarity, speed, and intelligence across the platform, turning firm data into actionable insights and empowering teams to work smarter.” Among the other key features are “Ask QAI,” an AI analytics assistant that enables users to type or speak queries for reports and insights; a Workspace module with both list and Kanban view for real-time task visibility; Simplified Navigation with a cleaner layout; and a Global Search function with category filters and memory of recent searches. Qount positions the redesign as more than just a visual or aesthetic overhaul but as foundational architecture for the future of Practice Intelligence™, anticipating further advancement into agentic automation and redefining how accounting firms manage performance, collaboration and scale.
