Heiko Hotz has announced that he has joined Google Cloud as Principal Strategist within the Strategic Customer Engagement (SCE) team in London. Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Hotz described the move as the start of a new chapter, where he will work with enterprise customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to accelerate AI adoption through collaborative innovation and strategic planning.
As part of his new role, Hotz will contribute to the development of Google Cloud‘s new Cloud Space at Platform 37 in London. The facility is being designed as a collaborative environment where enterprise customers can explore AI technologies through immersive demonstrations, hands-on build labs, and design-led workshops. The initiative reflects Google’s broader focus on creating spaces that enable organizations to experiment with emerging technologies before scaling them into production.
Hotz explained that his responsibilities will center on bridging the gap between executive AI strategy and technical implementation. Working alongside customers, he will support organizations in envisioning digital transformation initiatives, developing prototypes, and designing candidate architectures using Design Thinking methodologies to help accelerate innovation.
