South Korean tech giant NAVER has partnered with global asset manager Brookfield and AI computing leader NVIDIA to significantly scale South Korea’s sovereign AI factory infrastructure in a massive $10 billion buildout. Announced at an AI Summit in San Francisco, the plan expands the initial NVIDIA DSX™ deployment at NAVER’s GAK Sejong hyperscale data center from 55 megawatts to 200 megawatts, establishing a long-term path toward gigawatt-scale capacity. Financing for the $10 billion project includes $9 billion from exclusive capital partner Brookfield, $1 billion from NVIDIA, and the remainder funded by NAVER. Featuring NVIDIA’s next-generation Vera Rubin and Blackwell platforms, the expanded 200-megawatt AI factory will supply local and U.S.-based innovators with production-scale compute to develop next-generation models, software agents, and physical AI services.

Additionally, NAVER is deepening its technological collaboration with NVIDIA by building its HyperCLOVA X models on NVIDIA Nemotron™ 3 Ultra open models, joining the NVIDIA Nemotron Coalition, and leveraging NVIDIA software for upcoming agentic and world-model platforms.
