Dell Technologies unveiled new innovations across the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, aimed at helping enterprises fast-track AI adoption and drive measurable value across their operations.

The Need for Scalable AI Solutions

As organizations shift from AI experimentation to full-scale implementation, the demand for powerful, accessible, and scalable AI technologies is rising rapidly. To meet this demand, Dell and NVIDIA continue to enhance their AI infrastructure, delivering a unified stack of compute, storage, networking, and services designed to simplify AI deployment and maximize performance.

Next-Generation Infrastructure to Power AI Workloads

Dell Technologies is introducing advanced compute, storage, and networking solutions engineered for high-performance AI workloads:

  • New PowerEdge Servers: The air-cooled Dell PowerEdge XE9780 and XE9785 streamline integration into existing data centers, while the liquid-cooled XE9780L and XE9785L support rack-scale deployments. These systems support up to 192 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs per rack, expandable to 256 GPUs within Dell’s IR7000 architecture, offering up to 4x faster LLM training with 8-way NVIDIA HGX B300 configurations.⁴

  • PowerEdge XE9712: Featuring the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72, this platform delivers a 50x increase in inference throughput and up to 5x improvement in processing efficiency. Enhanced with Dell PowerCool technology, it’s optimized for energy-efficient AI training at scale.

  • Coming Soon: In July 2025, the Dell PowerEdge XE7745 will be available with NVIDIA RTX Pro™ 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. Designed for demanding physical and agentic AI workloads, this 4U chassis supports up to 8 GPUs and is validated for NVIDIA’s Enterprise AI Factory design.

  • Future-Ready Innovation: Dell plans to support the NVIDIA Vera CPU and Vera Rubin platform with a new PowerEdge XE server for Dell Integrated Rack Scalable Systems, offering even greater speed and performance for enterprise AI needs.

  • Enhanced Networking: Dell extends its portfolio with the Dell PowerSwitch SN5600 and SN2201 Ethernet switches, integrated with the NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet platform, and NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand. These 800 Gbps, low-latency switches are now supported by Dell ProSupport and Deployment Services, ensuring smooth AI infrastructure rollout.

Together, these technologies power the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA—a comprehensive, validated solution that includes Dell compute, storage, and networking combined with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software for a turnkey AI deployment experience.

Empowering Data-Driven AI with Dell AI Data Platform

Recognizing that the quality of AI outcomes is driven by the quality of data, Dell is expanding its AI Data Platform with new capabilities to enhance data management and performance:

  • ObjectScale Enhancements: Now supporting denser, software-defined configurations, ObjectScale enables large-scale AI at lower cost and footprint. Integrated with NVIDIA BlueField-3 and Spectrum-4, it boosts performance and scalability.

  • High-Performance AI Stack: A new reference architecture built on Dell PowerScale, Project Lightning, and PowerEdge XE servers—integrated with KV cache and NVIDIA NIXL Libraries—is optimized for distributed inference workloads.

  • Accelerated Throughput: ObjectScale will support S3 over RDMA, delivering up to 230% higher throughput, 80% lower latency, and a 98% reduction in CPU load compared to traditional S3 protocols.⁶

  • Integrated Insight Delivery: Dell also introduces a solution incorporating the NVIDIA AI Data Platform to streamline insights and accelerate agentic AI workloads.

Seamless AI Deployment with Software and Managed Services

To simplify AI adoption and accelerate value creation, Dell is enhancing its software and services offerings:

  • NVIDIA AI Enterprise Software: Available directly from Dell, this platform includes NVIDIA NIM, NeMo microservices, Blueprints, NeMo Retriever for RAG, and Llama Nemotron reasoning models—enabling enterprises to efficiently build and scale agentic AI workflows.

  • Red Hat OpenShift Integration: Available on the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, OpenShift provides flexibility, security, and simplified deployment for critical AI applications.

  • Dell Managed Services for AI: Designed to reduce operational complexity, Dell’s new managed services support the full NVIDIA AI stack, including 24×7 monitoring, patch management, and version upgrades—freeing up IT resources and ensuring continuous performance.

Executive Perspectives

“We’re on a mission to bring AI to millions of customers around the world,” said Michael Dell, chairman and chief executive officer, Dell Technologies. “Our job is to make AI more accessible. With the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, enterprises can manage the entire AI lifecycle across use cases, from training to deployment, at any scale.”

“AI factories are the infrastructure of modern industry, generating intelligence to power work across healthcare, finance and manufacturing,” said Jensen Huang, founder and chief executive officer, NVIDIA. “With Dell Technologies, we’re offering the broadest line of Blackwell AI systems to serve AI factories in clouds, enterprises and at the edge.”
