Barracuda Networks, Inc., a leading cybersecurity provider delivering comprehensive protection against complex threats for businesses of all sizes, has unveiled Barracuda Research, a centralized hub for threat intelligence, real-world incident analysis, and email threat detection insights powered by Barracuda AI. The platform is designed to empower IT and security professionals, along with managed service providers, with actionable guidance to understand emerging threats, recognize early warning signs, and implement practical defense strategies.
The introduction of Barracuda Research comes amid growing global pressure on organizations to leverage cyberthreat intelligence for proactive defense, risk reduction, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance. Research conducted by Barracuda in collaboration with Vanson Bourne revealed that 31% of organizations with up to 2,000 employees are concerned about their ability to effectively manage these challenges. Additionally, 47% of respondents cited that advanced evasion techniques in cyberattacks are making threats increasingly difficult to detect and neutralize.
The launch aligns with Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2025, a worldwide initiative aimed at highlighting practical measures businesses and consumers can take to bolster their cybersecurity posture.

Barracuda Research leverages AI-powered detection data to provide insights on prevalent email threat types and presents summaries of Barracuda’s latest threat analysis reports. These include detailed examinations of email attack tactics observed in the wild, emerging threats targeting organizations, step-by-step reviews of real-world incidents mitigated by Barracuda Managed XDR, and more. The platform’s insights are derived from analyzing trillions of IT events, AI-driven threat detection, individual security incidents, and applied mitigations.
“We’re launching Barracuda Research to meet the growing need of customers and partners for high-quality threat intelligence that is easy to understand and action,” said Neal Bradbury, chief product officer at Barracuda. “Approximately one in three smaller and mid-market organizations around the world worry about how to source and make use of threat intelligence to enhance security, and almost half believe the increasingly evasive nature of cyberthreats makes them harder to spot and respond to. Barracuda Research helps to address those challenges. It showcases the breadth and depth of Barracuda’s threat analysis expertise, which underpins our AI-powered BarracudaONE platform and world-class managed XDR service.”
