VSBLTY Groupe Technologies Corp., a leading software provider of AI-driven security and retail analytics technology, recently received its physical patent #11,481,809 from the United States Patent and Trademark Office .
With the granted patent, the company can license its technology to third parties and thus generate additional passive income. The technology can be used for specific, real-time digital advertisements to be shown to retail customers based on certain criteria. Technology, using anonymous advanced facial recognition, age and gender analysis, can determine which advertisements are most appropriate for the consumer in front of the screen. A man who was born around the turn of the millennium is shown a different advertisement than a woman of senior age when they are standing in front of a product presentation in the shop or at the checkout. The software is also able to change content depending on the customer’s distance from the product presentation. A range of content is designed to grab the customer’s attention from 30 meters away. The content can then trigger new content 3 meters away to further engage the customer and finally one last time when the customer interacts with the content via touch or by scanning a QR code.

Implementing VSBLTY technology in a retail environment has been shown to increase brand sales by up to 25%. A recent Forbes magazine article estimates the consumer media market to be worth $160 billion by 2027.
The same software can be used for security purposes to track potential security threats posed by buyers who are known to be past offenders. This advanced AI application can identify both weapons and people of interest (such as known shoplifters).
Jay Hutton , the co-founder and CEO of VSBLTY said: “Both brands and retailers are recognizing the benefits of in-store media, one of the fastest growing new advertising channels. VSBLTY‘s patented technology is ideal for this area of application. The ability to target potential customers with digital marketing strategies in the exact area where they shop creates additional revenue streams for brands and retailers. “Store as a Medium” programs can now deliver the same targeted customer media impressions and consumer analytics used in online marketing.”
