Salesforce has appointed Beth Houpis as Account Partner, Senior Director, adding an experienced leader to its efforts to help technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) companies navigate enterprise transformation and agentic artificial intelligence.
Houpis announced the move on LinkedIn after completing her first week of onboarding in San Francisco. She highlighted the opportunity to learn more about Salesforce’s vision for the “Agentic Enterprise” and collaborate with colleagues as she begins her new role.
In her new position, Houpis will partner with companies across the technology, media and telecommunications sectors as they explore agentic AI and broader enterprise transformation. Her role places her at the intersection of customer relationships, business strategy and emerging AI capabilities, where organizations are assessing how intelligent agents can support business processes and improve operational efficiency.
Salesforce has increasingly positioned agentic AI as a way for enterprises to move beyond traditional automation toward systems that can reason, take action within defined workflows and work alongside employees. Its Agentforce platform supports this strategy by enabling businesses to build and deploy AI agents connected to enterprise data and applications.

For TMT companies, these developments create opportunities to improve customer service, streamline operations and support more personalized digital experiences. However, successful adoption also requires organizations to align AI initiatives with business objectives, data infrastructure, security requirements and governance practices.
Houpis’s appointment reflects the growing importance of leaders who can connect enterprise technology with customer needs. As businesses evaluate AI-powered transformation, commercial and account leadership will play a role in identifying relevant use cases, aligning stakeholders and translating technology investments into practical outcomes.
Her move also highlights Salesforce’s focus on working closely with industry customers as they navigate the shift toward agentic enterprise models. As AI adoption expands, partnerships between technology providers and customers will be important in turning emerging capabilities into scalable business applications.
