Dharmendra (DK) Sinha has joined Accenture as Chief Executive Officer of Accenture Edge, taking charge of the company’s business focused on helping high-growth mid-market organizations adopt technology, cloud and artificial intelligence to accelerate business transformation.
Sinha announced the move on LinkedIn, marking a new chapter after more than three decades in the technology and business services industry. His career includes senior leadership roles at Rackspace Technology and Cognizant, where he held responsibilities spanning cloud, client services, sales, partnerships and business growth.
Before joining Accenture, Sinha served as President of the Public Cloud business at Rackspace Technology, where he led a large-scale cloud business. Earlier, he spent more than two decades at Cognizant, holding multiple executive positions and contributing to the company’s expansion from a relatively small technology services provider into a global enterprise.

His appointment comes as mid-market organizations face increasing pressure to modernize technology infrastructure while finding practical ways to turn AI investments into measurable business outcomes. Accenture launched Accenture Edge specifically for companies with approximately $300 million to $3 billion in annual revenue, offering right-sized technology and AI solutions through a dedicated operating model.
Accenture Edge has also expanded its ecosystem through partnerships with major technology providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce and Workday. In September, Accenture Edge and AWS announced six offerings designed to help mid-market organizations modernize systems, strengthen security and adopt AI.
With Sinha at the helm, Accenture Edge enters its next phase with a focus on growth, AI adoption and helping mid-market businesses move from technology ambitions to practical business results.
