Cognizant announces a news appointment of Javed Panjwani as Vice President of AI Strategy and Growth for AI Platforms. The appointment comes as enterprises and technology service providers increasingly focus on moving artificial intelligence from experimentation toward scalable, business-oriented deployments.
Panjwani brings more than 25 years of experience across enterprise technology, professional services, AI platforms, market-entry strategy, and partner ecosystems. His career includes senior roles at Salesforce, WolframAlpha, and ZS. At WolframAlpha, he worked on platform partnerships involving companies such as Apple, Google, and Microsoft, while at ZS he was involved in AI ecosystem partnerships with Salesforce, Google Cloud, and NVIDIA.

He also has previous experience at Cognizant, where he was involved in scaling a Cloud ERP practice from less than $1 million to $55 million through changes to service packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
In his new position, Panjwani’s focus sits at the intersection of AI platform strategy, commercial growth, and technology partnerships. The role reflects a wider industry shift in which organizations are looking beyond AI pilots and assessing how platforms, ecosystems, and business models can support sustainable enterprise adoption. Cognizant has also been expanding its AI platform capabilities as demand for enterprise AI continues to grow.
