Kelly Pugh has joined Ventra Health as Senior Vice President of Marketing, taking on a new leadership role at the healthcare technology company as it expands its focus on data, analytics and artificial intelligence.

Pugh announced the move on LinkedIn, sharing that she has already begun meeting colleagues and getting immersed in the business, including a recent trip to Chicago.

Her appointment comes as Ventra Health continues to strengthen its position at the intersection of healthcare services and technology. The company provides revenue cycle management solutions for facility-based physicians and healthcare organizations, combining industry expertise with technology, data and analytics.

AI is becoming an increasingly important part of Ventra’s technology strategy. The company’s vCision platform uses AI and automation to support revenue cycle operations, including claims processing, denial reduction, payer analysis and reimbursement optimization. Ventra has also positioned its data and analytics capabilities as a key part of helping healthcare organizations make more informed financial and operational decisions.

Pugh’s arrival therefore comes at a time when marketing in healthcare technology is evolving beyond traditional brand and communications functions. Technology providers are increasingly required to explain complex AI capabilities, demonstrate measurable business outcomes and communicate how data-driven solutions can address real operational challenges.

The leadership change also follows Ventra’s appointment of David Sides as CEO earlier in 2026. Sides has been tasked with advancing the company’s growth and transformation, with a background spanning healthcare technology, revenue cycle management, AI and strategic transformation.

With Pugh now leading marketing, Ventra adds another senior voice to its leadership team as the company continues developing its technology-led approach to healthcare revenue management.

Her next chapter will be closely tied to how Ventra communicates the growing role of AI, data and automation in transforming the financial side of healthcare.
