Or Tamir has joined BytePlus, the enterprise technology business of ByteDance, as AI Media & Technology Country Lead for the UK and Ireland (UK&I). Tamir shared the move on LinkedIn, marking a new chapter in his career focused on artificial intelligence, media and enterprise technology.
The appointment comes as BytePlus continues to expand its presence in enterprise AI and technology markets. BytePlus was established by ByteDance to bring technologies developed within the company to business customers globally, with its portfolio spanning artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, media technology and data solutions.
Tamir’s new position places him within BytePlus’s regional business operations at a time when AI is increasingly influencing how organizations approach content, media, customer experiences and digital products.
BytePlus has been expanding its AI capabilities across areas including generative media, video understanding, AI agents, knowledge search and AI application security. Its current technology portfolio includes tools for video and media analysis as well as AI-powered content creation and enterprise applications.
