Nintex has appointed Amy Payne as Chief Marketing Officer, bringing an experienced B2B technology marketing executive to lead the company’s global marketing organization. The appointment comes as enterprises increasingly connect workflow automation, artificial intelligence and business operations.

Payne joins Nintex from Talkdesk, where she most recently served as Vice President of Global Customer, Partner, Regional and Digital Marketing. She spent around six years at Talkdesk in increasingly broad marketing leadership roles, covering areas including customer engagement, partner marketing, regional programs and digital marketing.

Before Talkdesk, Payne spent more than a decade at Dassault Systèmes in marketing leadership positions. Her experience there included global brand and advertising strategy, demand generation and channel marketing across North America.

At Nintex, Payne will oversee the company’s global marketing strategy and execution. Her responsibilities will include areas such as demand generation, customer and partner engagement, and connecting marketing activities with broader business objectives.

The leadership change comes as the role of marketing continues to evolve alongside enterprise AI adoption. Technology companies are increasingly required to explain how automation and AI fit into existing business processes while addressing questions around adoption, customer value and organizational change.

Nintex has been developing its focus around what it calls agentic business orchestration, combining workflow automation and AI to coordinate people, processes, data and AI agents. Payne’s background across technology marketing, customer engagement and partner programs adds another layer to that strategy.

The appointment reflects a broader shift in technology marketing, where traditional brand and demand-generation responsibilities are increasingly intersecting with AI strategy, customer experience and partner ecosystems. As AI becomes part of enterprise software discussions, marketing leaders are taking on a growing role in translating complex technology developments into business-focused narratives.
