Apollo Appoints Mark Sieglock as Chief Product Officer

Apollo has appointed Mark Sieglock as Chief Product Officer, bringing an experienced product and engineering leader into the company as AI continues to reshape how sales and marketing teams manage customer engagement and revenue operations.

Sieglock will lead Apollo’s product strategy, design, research, and engineering organizations. He joins the company after serving as an early product executive at eero, where he helped guide the company from its pre-product stage through its first product launch in 2016, its acquisition by Amazon in 2019, and subsequent expansion into millions of homes.

His appointment comes as the traditional technology stack used by go-to-market teams begins to change. Sales and marketing organizations have historically relied on separate systems for customer data, outreach, pipeline management, marketing activities, and other revenue functions.

Artificial intelligence is creating an opportunity to connect these previously fragmented workflows. Instead of requiring teams to move information between multiple applications, AI-powered systems can potentially bring customer signals together, understand context, recommend actions, and automate parts of the revenue process.

At Apollo, Sieglock is expected to focus on advancing this product direction. The company is working toward connecting information from sales and marketing activity, customer data, websites, meetings, and other touchpoints so AI can help determine appropriate next steps across the customer lifecycle.

The shift reflects a broader change in enterprise software. AI is increasingly moving beyond standalone assistants and becoming embedded into workflows where systems can analyze information and take actions on behalf of users.

However, this transition also raises questions around data accuracy, privacy, governance, human oversight, and how businesses measure the effectiveness of AI-driven decisions. Connecting multiple revenue functions also requires organizations to maintain reliable data and clear controls across different systems.

Sieglock’s background in building and scaling technology products gives him experience across both early product development and large-scale adoption. That experience could be particularly relevant as Apollo works to evolve its platform around AI-native workflows.

The appointment is the latest addition to Apollo’s executive leadership team under CEO Matt Curl, following the appointment of Phil Moon as CFO earlier this year.

As AI continues changing the way revenue teams work, Sieglock’s role highlights an emerging priority for enterprise technology companies: building products that connect data, intelligence, and execution while keeping the user experience practical and accessible.
