The company RWS, an AI-enabled solutions provider that offers services on a global level, has finally launched Trados Studio 2026, which is the latest edition of the most popular computer-assisted translation tool across the world. The software has been developed after conducting various consultations with freelance translators. One of the key features of this new version is that it offers an entirely new architectural design that can open very big and complicated files up to seven times faster than the previous versions, offering great stability while working on high-volume files.

One of the biggest selling points of the new version is that it has integrated a very powerful AI translation engine called Language Weaver Pro, which was launched in March 2026 and is better than its competitors in 31 of the 32 available languages. “Trados Studio 2026 reflects the way professional translation is changing,” said Matt Hardy, SVP of Products at RWS. “Language professionals need tools that are faster, more flexible and more intelligent, but they also need to retain control over the quality and knowledge that define their work. This release brings performance, context-aware AI and trusted linguistic resources together in one environment, helping users take on more complex projects while continuing to deliver the standards their clients expect.” Serving over 250,000 language professionals worldwide, this update successfully pairs next-gen generative AI capabilities with reliable linguistic resources.
