In a strategic move to accelerate its artificial intelligence roadmap, A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN) has announced the acquisition of TrojAI, an innovative AI security company specializing in the security, testing, and governance of AI applications and agentic workflows. This acquisition significantly bolsters A10 Networks’ ability to deliver robust, sovereign AI security, providing enterprises and public-sector organizations with total control over how and where their non-deterministic models, data, and autonomous agents are protected. TrojAI enhances the A10 security ecosystem by introducing two vital layers of protection: build-time red teaming to proactively probe applications for vulnerabilities, and real-time runtime threat protection to defend against active exploits. By combining A10’s existing hardware-based AI firewall with TrojAI’s specialized software, the integration allows organizations to scale generative and agentic AI deployments with minimized latency and high availability across hybrid, on-premises, and cloud environments.

Emphasizing the necessity of this defense shift, Dhrupad Trivedi, President and Chief Executive Officer of A10 Networks, stated, “AI is changing both what enterprises build and the attack surface they have to defend, and traditional controls weren’t designed for non-deterministic models and autonomous agents.” Echoing this sentiment on enterprise safety and compliance, Lee Weiner, Chief Executive Officer of TrojAI, added, “Enterprises and public-sector organizations are adopting AI at an unprecedented pace, and they need to innovate securely while maintaining sovereignty over their AI security infrastructure.” While the transaction is not projected to materially impact A10’s fiscal year 2026 financial outcomes, it positions the networking security pioneer to capture essential infrastructure demands over the next two to five years.
