GitLab Expands MSP Program to Accelerate Agentic AI Across the Software Lifecycle

Now rolling out wider support for service firms wanting to offer GitLab as a handled solution, the company widens its MSP Partner Program. This move lines up with rising requests from big businesses seeking smarter automation, not just writing code but smoothing how teams plan, build, test, secure, and release software. Even though many companies now use AI tools to speed up coding work, they still get stuck when moving between stages like automated builds, safety audits, policy checks, or passing tasks across departments. Built, in coordination features inside GitLab let artificial intelligence helpers take on repetitive jobs across all phases, all kept under one controlled system. With this updated partner path, outside providers can set up GitLab anywhere: their own servers, shared hosting spots, client sites, or major cloud platforms. Control stays tight. Data never drifts where it shouldnt go. Flexibility meets rules. Enterprises pick where things run without losing oversight. Demand for such managed deployment options has been particularly strong across regions including EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, where regulatory frameworks often dictate how and where data is stored and processed. The program builds on the recent general availability of the GitLab Duo Agent Platform and aims to create new revenue opportunities for partners through enhanced margins and service-driven business models. MSP participants receive benefits such as additional transaction premiums, full retention of fees from deployment, migration, training, and consulting services, as well as access to priority support channels, not-for-resale licenses, quarterly technical bootcamps, and marketing development funds.
