Adarga, a pioneering force in AI-driven information intelligence, has achieved a significant milestone by securing an Enterprise Agreement Lite with the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). The agreement, valued at up to £12 million, underscores the MOD’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge AI solutions to enhance defence capabilities.

This landmark partnership empowers the MOD to swiftly deploy Adarga’s advanced AI products and services, further bolstering UK Defence operations. Notably, this agreement marks one of the first instances of such a contract being awarded to a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME), emphasizing Adarga’s critical role in driving innovation and delivering strategic value to the British Armed Forces. It also signals a transformative shift in the way technology is procured for UK Defence.

Adarga has been instrumental in providing the MOD with a competitive edge in today’s increasingly complex operational landscape. The company’s collaboration with the MOD includes the successful deployment of AI capabilities to UK Strategic Command. Adarga’s solutions empower analysts and decision-makers with enhanced intelligence outputs through its robust search, discovery, and generative AI technologies, while simultaneously streamlining processes to improve efficiency.

Adarga’s proprietary technologies enable the deployment of AI models across varying classification levels, providing Defence teams with versatile AI toolkits and solutions. These capabilities are adaptable to diverse mission requirements, making them a valuable asset in dynamic operational scenarios. Central to this capability is Adarga’s Knowledge Platform, powered by advanced natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI. This platform accelerates the extraction of meaningful insights from vast and complex datasets, ensuring faster and more informed decision-making.

Victoria Cope, Commercial Director of Defence Digital, expressed her enthusiasm, stating:
“By offering such contracts to some of the most promising indigenous start-ups, we’re well placed to be early-adopters and shapers of such critical technologies. We are proud as Defence’s Digital Commercial Directorate, including Commercial X, to support SMEs to bring innovation to the Ministry of Defence. Adarga is a brilliant example of that innovation, and this EA Lite represents a step forward in providing SMEs a platform to deliver value at scale, across the Defence enterprise.”

Charlie Maconochie, Senior Vice President Public Sector at Adarga, echoed the significance of this agreement, saying:
“This Agreement underscores AI’s vital role in the future of UK Defence capability and a pivotal change to the way in which software is procured from SMEs like Adarga at the forefront of innovation. As a British born company, we are thrilled to be providing the MOD with cutting-edge capabilities that will enable them to rapidly adapt to the changing character of warfare and remain competitive in an increasingly adversarial landscape.”

With this agreement, Adarga continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing the capabilities of the UK MOD through AI-driven innovation, ensuring the Defence sector remains prepared for the challenges of modern warfare.
