Workshop announced the launch of Cici, an agentic AI assistant built specifically for modern internal communications that helps communications teams plan, write, design, and send internal messaging with speed, clarity, and less guesswork, right inside the Workshop platform. Unlike generic AI tools, Cici comes preloaded with Workshop’s internal communications playbooks, templates, benchmarks, and tone rules so teams can start receiving valuable, context-aware assistance immediately without heavy setup or prompt engineering. “Internal communications is high-impact work, and teams need tools that help them operate at that level,” said Rick Knudtson, CEO and co-founder of Workshop. “Cici helps teams move quickly and stay aligned, without losing the culture and priorities that make internal comms meaningful.” Cici is able to suggest subject lines, rewrite content for readability, and help plan multi, step campaigns. She is also capable of providing actionable engagement insights and answering questions that are tailored to specific audiences or industries, thus giving communicators a practical edge without unnecessary complexity.

Instead of being an add, on, built into Workshop, Cici is coming as a public preview today, and inside the platform, it is already linked with email and campaign performance data. Over time, it is intended to get a deeper context by learning brand guidelines, past communications, audience lists, and engagement metrics, thus being able to create more personalized drafts, optimize send times, and surface insights based on what each organization does best. In the future, the idea is for Cici not just to be an assistant but a true collaborator that helps teams analyze results, identify gaps, and build better communications across channels. “Communicating well inside a company takes real care,” said Mikey Chaplin, Manager of Product & Design. “That’s why we designed Cici to handle the busywork and first drafts, so teams have more space to focus on the creative, thoughtful work that helps people feel informed and connected.” Cici is now available in beta with expanded capabilities rolling out in the coming months, and teams can request early access demos.
