Suvoda LLC, a global clinical trial technology company specializing in complex therapeutic areas such as oncology, central nervous system (CNS), and rare diseases, has launched ‘Sofia,’ an artificial intelligence assistant designed to simplify access and review of clinical trial information. Integrated into the Suvoda Platform, Sofia offers drug supply managers an intuitive chat interface, transforming multi-screen, multi-click processes into straightforward conversations.

E.K. Koh, Chief Product Officer at Suvoda, stated, “When creating Sofia, we asked ourselves: What if clinical trial staff had an AI assistant that could alleviate their administrative burdens? Sofia became our answer.” Key features of Sofia include streamlined information retrieval through natural language queries, enhanced productivity in drug supply management by facilitating tasks such as depot inventory comparisons and shipment detail reviews, and the ability to generate visual data representations like charts and graphs.

Developed with a focus on reliability and security, Sofia ensures data privacy and regulatory compliance by restricting study data access based on user roles and protecting patient information from exposure to public AI models. Initially optimized for drug supply managers using Suvoda’s Interactive Response Technology (IRT), there are plans to extend Sofia’s capabilities to other users and products across the Suvoda Platform. This launch underscores Suvoda’s commitment to innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience in clinical trial management.
