The organization, OpenAI, has unveiled the latest version of its AI model, referred to as GPT-5.5. The company calls their model the smartest AI ever made, their goal is to change human and business activities dramatically and get them done more creatively with the help of agent-based models. GPT-5. 5 is the latest version of this program and it has improved abilities in areas such as reasoning coding scientific studies, and productivity work. It can understand ambiguous commands, plan processes with several steps, and use browser, file, and software tools on its own to finish assignments. Company states that GPT-5. 5 is a “new kind of intelligence” which is able to perform long-duration operations such as code problems troubleshooting, research, and others. The model shows substantial improvements in the metrics of performance, including enhanced accuracy in coding and professional knowledge-related tasks. In addition to that, there is an improvement in efficiency as the model completes tasks with fewer tokens, and without increasing latency.
