NVIDIA is planning to bring its “physical AI” to actual production by linking with the world’s leading robotics companies through strategic collaborations, which will be a new opening for the industry-wide AI-driven automation. The program was disclosed at GTC 2026 and that it aims at using an integrated system of high-level AI models, simulation tools, and data frameworks to help robots use sight, thinking, and actions in changing physical environments. A big part of the initiative is NVIDIA’s robotics expanded stack, which consists of new Isaac robotics models, Cosmos world foundation models, and simulation platforms to help developers train robots on synthetic data before the robots can be used in the real world. Besides this, NVIDIA has released the concept known as the “Physical AI Data Factory” which is basically a strategy for making it easier to carry out research and development of robots and autonomous machines with the assistance of AI and vision-based systems by generating large-scale, highest-quality training data.
