L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has announced the development of a next-generation AI-powered digital twin platform for respiratory diagnostics and lung navigation, built in collaboration with NVIDIA. The solution, set to debut at Radiological Society of North America 2025 (RSNA 2025), uses CT imaging and deep learning to generate a 3D digital twin of a patient’s lung   mapping airways, blood vessels, lobes and lesions and is powered by NVIDIA MONAI for medical image segmentation and NVIDIA TensorRT for optimized AI inference. By leveraging LTTS’ expertise in platform engineering, AI-driven diagnostics, connected health systems and advanced imaging and visualization, the platform delivers scalable, low-latency solutions that transform static scans into dynamic, “living” models that evolve with the patient.

This enables interactive visualization, precise path planning and navigation support for bronchoscopy procedures, helping clinicians plan and navigate complex interventions more efficiently. According to LTTS, this innovation could significantly improve care for serious conditions such as lung cancer, COPD and infectious diseases. “AI is reshaping what’s possible in diagnostics and medical technology,” said Alind Saxena, Executive Director and President of Mobility and Tech at LTTS. “Our collaboration with NVIDIA … lets us engineer a digital twin platform that not only enhances diagnostic accuracy but also gives clinicians an immersive, real-time planning tool ultimately helping deliver better outcomes for patients around the world.” In line with this, David Niewolny, Director of Business Development for Healthcare/Medical at NVIDIA, added that the partnership brings the vision of real-time AI and biological digital twins into clinical practice delivering interactive visualization and intelligent guidance that can help clinicians provide higher-quality care globally.
