Infosys has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Optimum Healthcare IT. This acquisition aims to significantly enhance Infosys’ capabilities in the healthcare digital transformation segment and accelerate innovation in artificial intelligence across the healthcare provider ecosystem. This acquisition highlights Infosys’ strategic commitment to expanding its presence in the healthcare segment, especially across the healthcare provider segment. This acquisition will help Infosys enhance its position in the US healthcare segment by accessing new clients, strengthening its consulting and implementation capabilities, and leveraging synergies across several service segments, including cloud, data, cybersecurity, and application transformation services. The healthcare providers associated with Optimum will be able to leverage Infosys’ broader portfolio of services, including its artificial intelligence-based Infosys Topaz platform and Infosys Cobalt cloud-based services, to drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
