IBM Consulting and Red Hat Launch Joint Innovation Hub for Hybrid Cloud & AI Transformation

IBM Consulting has announced the opening of its inaugural Innovation Hub in Bengaluru, developed in collaboration with Red Hat, to help clients globally accelerate enterprise transformation using hybrid cloud and AI technologies. Situated at IBM’s Client Innovation Center, the new facility is designed to allow clients to experience Red Hat’s open-source technologies in a hands-on environment, aligning with IBM Consulting’s industry expertise to scale automation, application modernization, generative AI and hybrid-cloud solutions. As Rob McMahon, Red Hat’s senior director for Global Software, Services and Integration Partners stated: “Red Hat is pleased to collaborate with IBM Consulting to participate in their Client Innovation Center for customers to experience the benefits of Red Hat’s industry-leading technologies first-hand.”

This collaboration builds on IBM Consulting’s position as the industry’s largest Red Hat services practice and global systems integrator for Red Hat solutions, enabling a combined approach where “by combining IBM Consulting’s deep expertise with Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud capabilities, we are enabling customers to achieve better business outcomes and modernize for the next generation of IT,” according to McMahon. The Innovation Hub aims to help organisations explore hybrid cloud architecture, migration and application modernization, and evaluate how Red Hat solutions can drive value across their IT stack ultimately delivering greater return on investment and competitive advantage through open-ecosystem innovation.
