Related stories

Following a series of highly successful pilots initiated in February 2026, HP Inc. has announced the scaled activation of its Frontier strategic partnership with OpenAI to drive enterprise-wide transformation. Serving as a unified connective layer, OpenAI Frontier will provide the necessary governance, context, deployment patterns, and evaluation tools to transition HP’s initial pilot momentum into a structured, AI-driven operating model. This expanded deployment spans a broad spectrum of critical areas, including employee productivity, software development, customer telemetry insights, and partner-facing ecosystems. During the early pilot phases, HP witnessed significant efficiency gains, such as a security team proactively remediating critical software vulnerabilities in a single day a task that normally takes up to a month which directional estimates suggest unlocked roughly 82 hours per week of capacity.

Furthermore, HP is exploring how to apply Frontier to its Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) to analyze device telemetry and automate fleet health troubleshooting, cementing AI as a core execution layer that safely accelerates operations from proof of concept to full-scale production.
